Its that time of year again. Auditions for American Idol!
 http://www.americanidol.com/ (Not sure if they have anything posted yet, though.) Who else is watching and who are you rooting for? I'm not too sure of names, but I'm surprised at how many young talented people came to audition this year! (They're all 16 - 20 ish) o_o I'm rooting for: -Michael Castro (Last season's 4th runner up's brother) -Corey The other names are slipping me at the moment, but it was this 16 year old girl with the voice of an angel. :X |

I only saw a tiny little bit of them in Arizona, and all I have to say is: what the f*ck is up with that slutty bikini girl?

I changed the channel and JUST missed the blind dude. Was he really that great? I mean, I'm all for people inspiring others, but I just had a feeling they would've let him through if he was just mediocre. =\

Honestly, the blind dude was good, but he wasn't that great. The show was making such a big deal b/c he's blind. I thought they were focusing a little too much on his blindness. He's not an alien, he's blind. Jeez...
I said blind way too many times in the above sentences. lol I like the Indian dude and the last girl on the 2nd episode. It's hard to pick a favorite b/c most of the ones that went to Hollywood are so good! |

I just watched that on YouTube. Oh that Ryan. Probably just slipped from his mind.
I LOL'd really hard at the crying montage, the last girl who was in tears and hysterical. It sounded like she was mourning her mom's death. And that super awkward girl that sang "Over the Rainbow" I think. LOL words cannot explain how awkward she really was. What do you think of the new judge? Personally I feel like she adds NOTHING to the show. She's just another Paula. |

Oh the Castros... such a good looking family!
I was actually kinda sad that they didn't let the guy with the two crazy cheerleaders through to the next round! I thought he was a lot better than the black guy who convinced the judges that he was actually "really, really, really, really, really good!" HAHA yeah omg that girl who sang "Over the Rainbow" was hilarious. I liked how she just walked off without any comments cause the judges were just so speechless. I REALLY liked the guy that dedicated his song to Sophia, his wife that passed away a month ago. When I first heard the story, I was like "oh great... the producers just want a sympathetic audience and he probably sucks but the judges will let him through", but he actually turned out to be REALLY good! |

I don't really see the point of the new judge at all. I guess they were trying to spice things up a bit, but I don't know how another "nice" judge could do that. Maybe she'll end up growing on me eventually...I have a hard time thinking she will though.
As for people I liked, I thought the guy who's wife passed away (don't know names yet) was really good. That's really the only person I could remember... |

I LOVED it when she challenged the slutty bikini girl. I have no idea who she is (and I feel slightly ignorant for that), but it was just awesome that she broke out in song to prove that she's actually has something.
