Personally, I am IN LOVE WITH MARIAH CAREY! she is my idol and everything!
I've got like 6 of her cds, from the early 90's to now! :D
I like rihanna's song umbrella and rehab, but she's so-so to me :o!
I just wanna see everyones opinion!

She has like an 8 octave range or something.

Rihanna (or however you spell her name) looks like a goddess but sounds like a demon. Mariah looks and sounds like a goddess. But she messes with Nick Cannon. So she loses points there.

But Mariah is a way better singer hands down.

Comparing Mariah to Rhianna is absolutely ridiculous though. When will you young folk learn that at least 95 percent of these newer artists have limited vocal ability and can't come close to 25 percent of top tier artists. Either you are on that stuff or you just poorly titled the poll when you asked "Who can sing better?".
If it was titled who has a better selection of songs or makes better songs, which I would still say Mariah, I could honestly understand where you're coming from.


With that being said, I don't even think Mariah is GOAT singer.
