i usually obsess over with any show that takes place in new york city, except for sex in the city (hate horse face killer). so it is obvious, that i was super excited when whitney got her own show. though whitney always appeared to be nice on the hills, i always found her personality a little bland but the hills really just revolved around lauren and heidi & spencer. she's moved to nyc, started her new job with diane von furstenberg, and started new friendships and relationships.

p.s. i love olivia, she is bangin' which gives me another incentive to watch.

so far i don't like olivia, she seems bitchy and cares about pointless stuff too much.

for example, last night she told whitney not to buy the first apartment she saw. whitney bought the first one and then olivia acted all offended and bitchy about it. was she bitching because she was worried whitney didn't get the best buy or apartment? NO, she was only bitching because whitney didn't do what she told her to do.


overall i was pretty surprised when whitney got her own show, because like you said she was really a bland boring character on the hills. her only point for the most part was to gossip with lauren when they were at work.

you are so right about olivia's personality. she is superficial as it gets, but i would let her do me. did you see when they first met? maybe it's just me, but i got super bad vibes from olivia, like "who is this whitney girl trying to take my spot?"

hopefully whitney has wits to survive in the city. the previews for future upcoming episodes make it seem she will have a tough time battling with different crowds of people.

I am glad that I am not the only that watches that. I love the citys and of course it will be better than the hills. Olivia is the sex as sandy and I have already talked about lol.

the hills really concentrated mainly on lauren conrad, and the drama in her life. like JC said, she her camera time when there was gossiping moments at work. meh i don't think the city will be that bad, mtv will try its damn hardest to make it interesting somehow, someway. i'm bias though, i tend to like nyc settings more than l.a.

although i think in the long run whitney might end up being more interesting since she has a pretty interesting job. they already did newlyweds anyway i guess and there's not much content when it comes to justin and audrina. audrina has no brain if you ask me. she spends all her show time basically sitting around with her mouth hanging open while people talk to her and she says "yeah"...


that first laguna beach season was gold for mtv if you think about it. giving them two solid seasons in laguna and then branching out following lauren to l.a. and now branching out into the city. pretty smart really, they've brought a fan base with them to numerous shows by removing one character and putting them somewhere else for us to follow.

I'm sad Whitney has her own show. She's always been my favourite because she seems the most smart and reserved, and she once said she didn't want to completely expose her life in front of the camera (that's why The Hills didn't show any of her boyfriends before). But so much for that. =(

I am super interested in watching it for Jay. I love him and his accent.

yea its a great show, I love Olivia... I dont think Whitney should trust her but Olivia attitude is funny, shes rude and stuck-up like most social lights. haha... its so cool to see how east coast rich kids are SOOOO different from west coast rich kids.
