Well i got into in photoshop when i saw a flyer party and i saw how it was designed and i thought it looked cool, and always wondered how do they do it...i kept searching and searching to figure out what they used to create those gfx until my sister met a guy that knew how and actually gave her the program and since then ive designing since sophmore year till now Senior! woot woot lol
well its a good day today so i felt like sharing it with the createblog world lol |

They were just excited to see Kris I think. :P
I started out by wanting to make my own avatar, actually, and I used to do everything in MS Paint. Then I got photoshop and started learning, and now I'm doing this (whatever it is I'm doing) I guess. =] Oh and I fully accredit my being a music major to Miss Arkansas visiting my school when I was in kindergarten and playing the flute. I thought it was beautiful the way it sounded and the way she looked holding it, and I wanted to be like that. |

well i just got the photoshop 30 day trial in like freshmen year wanting to do simple edits to my pictures, but then i got into myspace and liked it
so here i am... rock you like a hurricane  nah jkbut yeah here i am just making lyts for myspace |

I think I've answered this question a million times on cB but once more doesn't hurt lol.
I got into Photoshop through my yearbook class my Junior year in high school. We used InDesign to make the pages & Photoshop to edit the pictures. Tbh, I didn't know Photoshop was a program until yearbook class. I thought it was a class or something.  But I got into Photoshop & wanted to learn more. So during class when we had free time, I would come on cB & try out the tutorials to learn more. And I eventually got Photoshop at home & here I am.

Um I think overall there were three things that got me into Photoshop:
Fanfiction My cousin and finding the installation disk to PS7 in the basement. Before Quizilla turned to crap I used to read fanfiction there. I would always see all those pretty banners (not the ones that were done in MSPaint but the pretty ones that actually looked like they took effort) that people made for the authors and always wondered how to make them. Then one day I went to my cousins house in NY and he was playing around with Photoshop and I was like "OH THAT'S HOW THEY DO THAT!". Then one day I was in the basement going through this big CD case full of disks that no one uses. And there it was. PS7. So after doing stuff on my own I started reading tutorials and started to actually learn how to use Photoshop. And that's basically how I go to where I am today.

Hmmm one of my cameras came with a free photo touchup thingy, then from that I got a trial from psp, then photshop so I got a trial of photo shop 7, then bought it, then finally CS3. But now that I think of it I did a lot of stuff on Paint, I wish I still had some of it.

I found out about cB, then started poking around the forums and saw all the work that's being done.
I wanted to do the same, so I got CS2 at first. Then I had a subdomain. Now I'm just returning to it with a CS4 after having stopped for a long time. |
