QUOTE
Reporting from Hollywood, Fla. -- A dead man was officially named Adam Walsh's killer Tuesday, but not because of any new evidence or a deathbed confession.

Police simply took another look at 27 years of tips, psychic revelations, often-botched police work and a serial killer's chilling admissions and decided it was time. Time to ease the suffering of the Walsh family and time to point the finger at the man Hollywood Police Chief Chad Wagner said had been the prime suspect all along: Ottis Toole

^I think you mean America's Most Wanted.

I don't know if it really will completely give them closure. They're pretty sure it's him but the fact it wasn't proven in court or confessed still must give them pain.

WHOOPS. lack of sleep hahaha. oh yeah wiki isn't reliable source but i thought ottis confessed, but there was apparently lack of evidence. well, it may not give them complete closure but thanks to john and his show, criminals have been caught.

^I agree. (I think it sucks even more how they only ever found Adam's head. Not that finding the head was a great thing. Ugh, you get me.)
Yeah, apparently he [Toole] confessed on his deathbed that he did kill Adam.

hahaha.

I know same here! It used to scare me when I was younger. I`ll never forget these two stories that were on the show at one point because they were creepy. I hated watching it before I went to bed but my parents would watch it and so I would, too. sad.gif

Police lost a bloody carpet from Toole's 1971 Cadillac, then lost the car.

Um, how do you loose a car? _unsure.gif
