You actually do both. You can download the CS4 trial here & if you want to keep on using CS4, you have to buy it after 30 days. |

Well, you can download it for free as a 30-day trial. Other than that, you would have to pay the price tag.
You can buy it at most office supply store: best buy, staples, etc. You can get it online of course. There are still a lot of fans of Photoshop 7, which has dropped in price quite a bit. I use Photoshop CS2, which isn't much different than Photoshop 7 except with a heavier price tag. I would suggest Photoshop 7 only because it's available under 100 in some places. The CS series still carries a triple figure price. |

well... u can get it for free. like i got cs3 web/desing premium in like 4 computers for free. but we don't promote that in CB
so basically u can pay for it by ordering it or buying it from a store. or use it for only 30 days |

What Shakeene said, if you or someone you know is a student at a university, they can get a major discount from adobe and any other software programs.

Get the trail and then buy the product.
If your a student you get a huge discount though. I believe my web design standards package or whatever the hell its called was around $200. |
