Hey, is anyone else interested in restarting the cB makeup contest? Gigi & Yanlin, I KNOW you guys wanna participaaaate.

If there is interest, what would the rules be? I didn't really look at the old make-up contests, so I'm not exactly sure what's what.

Any ideas for themes?

Idk, I think it would be funnnnn.

And yeah, we should start this around/after Christmas, when things on the school and home front start going back to normal.

Throwing some out here right now...

- Makeup through the decades (i.e. 50s retro, 60s twiggy, 70s disco etc)
- Similarly, makeup through the ages (Marie Antoinette, Cleopatra, geisha, w/e)
- High fashion
- Halloween
- Makeover (a friend, maybe?)
- Seasons (either literal or makeup appropriate for the respective seasons)
- Grunge
- Comic book

I'll join. We can do animal print! I think we should avoid animal print, I dont want to look like I was crying. I like the makeup through the ages idea.

can we discuss themes?

I'm thinking this shouldn't only about "normal" makeup. We should try to get creative, too, like costume, high fashion, halloween, etc., no?

Then there can be other themes like nightlife, different color schemes, seasons, etc.

Any other ideas?

Eh. I'll give it a go too. I probably won't do well since I don't do it often, but why the hell not. Besides, the way I'm pressuring people into doing Last Stylist Standing I better participate in some other contests.

i was thinking maybe this would better not as a "Last Makeup Artist Standing" contest, but as just recurring mini-rounds with a 1st and 2nd place winner for each one.

that way, everybody can participate in all rounds as long as the contest keeps going. for example, i know the guys guys wouldn't mind participating in maybe a movie-makeup or halloween theme, but would they really want to put on makeup for high fashion?

if we do it this way we wont have to worry about people dropping out, since each round is standalone. if you don't have time to do this theme, you can always participate in the next, etc.

anyone agree?
