I think.. that the reason people thought it was "over the top" or "bad acting" or something else.. I think it is because the storyline was a little tense or awkward, therefore making the viewers feel tense and awkward. |

everyone has their own image of "the edward" for the movie.
as i watched the movie, he seemed to grow on me. At first, I was like "ehhh....he's okay...but can do better.." but you can't do anything about it but accept it, and I think that he's a pretty good Edward. =P The movie was good, not great, but i still liked it and cannot wait until the second one comes out. XDDDDDD. i agree, i am in love with twilight all over again, and want to keep rereading the series!!!!! gAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! |

I thought the movie was...alright.
but, it wasnt what i expected. i was hoping edward would be different but, he ended up growing on me. and i wish they would have chosen a better bella, but thats just my opinion, still i hope new moon is better! |

Did anyone notice during the middle of the movie when Edward and Bella were sitting alone and talking, that in one scene they were sitting in the rain and got all wet, but then in the next they were completely dry? That confused me a little.
Anyway, i thought the movie was really cute. I saw in in theatres twice...and didn't pay once, lol. And i know i sound like the typical teenage girl hyping up about this but...Robert Pattinson is seriously GORGEOUS.... him in his suit at prom, O M G. |

I saw it today. I liked it, it started growing on me after the baseball game. I think they could have done a better job. Hopefully they're given a bigger budget to work with on the next one, and don't rush it. It seemed like they could have done a way better job with editing it.

Probably some of my favorite parts were Edward's house and the baseball field. I mean come on, hot vampires who are cooking you dinner with wit? Thats f*cking funny when you havent read the book. And the baseball, Alice was hott.

I'm not a fan of Twilight but I'm currently watching the movie. I'm not impressed. The movie is kind of ridiculously stupid.
Dialogue at beginning of movie: *Bella shows up at school in her truck. Bella gets out of said truck next to douchey preppy kids* Douchey guy: Nice ride(in a sarcastic way). Bella: Thanks. Douchey Girl to Douchy Guy: Good one. *Douchey guy smirks in smug way* ...Who wrote this script? They deserve a beatdown. I did find a reference to a book cover. I feel so proud.

the movie sucked.
I think what killed it for me was the fact that the obese girl that was next to me clearly got wet and screamed everytime edward spoke. I was like Get the f*ck over it. The usher didnt even bother with her she was so fat....
