copying JC's title here.

Why do they pick the most ridiculous time to mow the lawn? Seriously, I'm tired of hearing the damn lawnmower at 6am in the morning. I hate waking up to the sound too. I don't understand why they don't do it during the day, when most people are either at work, or at school. Why do it in the morning when everyone is still probably sleeping.

that is annoying as hell.

numerous times lately since there are new houses going up right across from me they the workers will be out there at 7 on saturday mornings. scoring concrete, running jackhammers, unloading lumber. i don't wake up from it, but my gf does and gets pissed off. i don't understand the times of day they choose to do that kinda shit either. people love to run loud machines at random times of the day.

ugh. i'll deal with the lawn mowers. road construction on the other hand? freakin bullshit. i will never understand how downtown LA chose their times for f*cking road construction, or when that shit will end.

i've yet to go to LA without hitting at least one area of construction, usually making me late for whatever I'm supposed to be doing because their detours make as much sense as my calc physics class.

lol man, good thing no one really mows their lawns near me. Oh man though, my sister's house is somewhat near a train track (still pretty far away though), but damn their honking alarms are LOUD!!! I'm sleeping and I hear that around 4am. It wakes me up. AUGH. The neighborhood is nice, but man I wish they didn't consider building a new neighborhood so close to the train. =_="

But seriously, wtf is with those damn roosters in the morning, too?! San Diego is NOT a farming city or something. Why the hell do people have roosters?! WTF. They serve NO PURPOSE. I also used to live in a nicer neighborhood and I still hear roosters. I can't escape them. AUGHHHH.

It's not as hot in the morning so it is easier to mow.

sometimes people mow that early to avoid the heat of the after noon sun... I had that problem with my neighbors when i first lived in SC.

Also, since people do have to go to work later on, they want to get it done before work... Maybe? :?

I wouldn't mind as long as someone else was willing to do it. I'm allergic to fresh cut grass, though, so I'd probably end up sneezing all day.

Is it just fresh cut grass, or grass in general?

Just fresh cut grass. It's a very weird allergy, but I've met quite a few people with the same problem. Luckily, it's gotten me out of having to mow the lawn, lol.
