i was excited so i shared it.
just because i'm 18 means that im childish and that my parents are going to take care of it? im not your average 18 year old. most 18 yr olds who get pregnant want to have an abortion or give the baby up right away but not me.

it wasn't an inconvenience to us. and it's not like im upset because im very excited about the baby. we knew i could be because the one time wasnt protected.

Although it was probably very unplanned, congrats.

I don't think this thread was a cry for attention, maybe she doesn't have many friends to share the news with, so strangers will have to suffice. tongue.gif

I hope that you are able to get guidance from your parents, and educate yourself about pregnancy and parenthood. And of course, I hope that you're able to give this child a positive and secure future.

Well, congratulations. Just make sure you can give 'em plenty of love. And make sure you can raise 'em well too. There are a ton of resources for help.

Agree.

What is everyone's problem? She seems to be perfectly fine and ready for a baby at this age, who are we to tell her otherwise? There's no need to call her a teenage slut (teenaged girls have sex all the time, sometimes birth control fails. when that happens, they aren't a slut. things happen.) or call this a plea for attention.

So I'm happy that you are happy and seeing this as a miracle, not a mistake. That goes to show you that you are ready and mature enough to handle this. If you have love and support from your family and your fiancee, there is no doubt that you can handle this.

So congratulations and please give the baby all of the love in the world.

i agree 100%. whats wrong with everyone? just because she's 18 doesnt mean she isnt ready for a baby. she seems happy about it too.

Stop trying to advertise your pro-baby agenda. I'm faster, stronger, and smarter than any baby. You're preaching a socialist tenet by implicating that babies should get free entitlements from society while the rest of us earn our keep through hard work.
