after viewing 1angel3's hello kitty piece I was like oh man i have to try this out. Viewing all sorts of typography pieces and pretty much working all night on a possible idea, I came up with this piece.

Used Photoshop.... I need Illustrator < better for text art.
Anyway its on things that relate (or happen while he was around) to the character L, like the people he was involved with, things he ate, way he acted... etc.

Its pretty fun, dying to try out other ideas soon.

I also posted this on DA

OMG I love it, that's cool. I never done it in Photoshop before but I should try it for Photoshop too. You can do it in InDesign too becasue InDesign has text wrap. But in my opinion Illustrator is better.

OMG I just realize my name is in there.

yeah it doesn't distort the text as bad as photoshop.

Thanks for the comment though. laugh.gif

It looks awesome. I don't know anything about Death Note, so I don't really know what any of it means...but it still looks good. thumbsup.gif

I need to try typography....

This is good! I love the word-association idea. You should have added in something about candy and sugar cubes, too. xD

I've never been able to forget that part where L piles his coffee cup with a mountain of sugar cubes in volume six. It cracked me up so badly.
