What kind of coffee makers do you guys have?
I have a one-cup maker, and I love it. You don't have to measure anything out, because it comes in these pre-packaged filter thingies. And it only takes about 1 and a half minutes to make. ![]() |

We have three types of coffee makers in my house:
A percolator (primary) ![]() An espresso maker ![]() A french press ![]() The french press is my favorite since it's so easy to use (put the coffee grounds in the bottom and then pour the right amount of water on top of it) but it's a bitch to clean out. |

LOL! It's my dad's fault. When I was in school I used a crappy $9 pyrex coffee maker. But now that I'm home, I get to have fancy coffee.

^ The percolator and the french press are pretty easy. Using the percolator is like using a standard coffee maker. I've never used the espresso maker though, but it looks difficult.
We use Maxwell for the percolator, Illy for the espresso maker, and I dunno what we use for the french press. Whatever it is, it's coarse ground. |

Grinding the coffee yourself is supposed to make for a better taste (pre-ground can lose its aroma and flavor after it's been opened), so don't feel too bad.

Yep, grinding is always best. You can get coffee grinders pretty cheap, JC. You might want to consider getting one or putting it on your xmas list.

Meh. I get Dunkin Donuts preground coffee.
Aannd, my coffeemaker's a pretty cheap Black&Decker. I've also got a french press, though, but it's such a pain to clean out that I don't really use it. |

![]() This is my coffee maker. I love it because I just use the pods instead of worrying about coffee beans. And it is a one cup coffee maker, which is perfect for me because I like different coffee flavors than my parents... so I can just make my own cup of whatever I want. And it brews tea too <3 |

I live in a dorm that doesn't allow electric appliances beyond the fridge+microwave. It's just a cone and you put your filter in it and brew. It goes frickin' fast and my coffee always comes out tasting very acidic/sour-ish when it cools down. I think my bag of Dunkin' Donuts preground has lost its flavor. =( When it's piping hot, it's kinda enjoyable. |
