it heals the bleeding wounds that we once thought it could never heal
it cleanses the soul that we once thought had fade with time
it brings back memories...
long-forgotten memories of the past.

Once again,
I hear your voice
your laughter
in the white-washed walls of the music room
and it brings back memories...
happy ones, sad ones, hopeful ones.

Even if your soul has left this world,
and your body buried deep within the grasp of Earth
your music will forever remain with me
because it brings back memories...
vivid memories of us in a faraway beach, hand in hand
watching the sunset.

But sometimes,
even music cannot substitute for tears.
