Bill Gates has a reputation for coming late to the party, then making a big splash when he arrives. That's what happened after the Microsoft chairman realized the potential of the Internet. And it may happen again if he starts his personal Web log.
Yes, the world's richest man may start his own blog, one of those online diaries that have been the rage among techies for the past three or four years. Bill's blog won't be all business, either. He's expected to share personal details such as tidbits from recent vacations, according to tech pundit Mary Jo Foley's Microsoft Watch newsletter. Citing unnamed sources, she reported yesterday that Gates is about to start blogging "real soon now." ... original news  Heh. I'm going to read it. It's going to be interesting.

Bill Gates wouldn't use Xanga...he would use something like Movable Type at the very least.

Dear Blog,
Today after discussing the possible outcomes of XP squared, I came home. My wife was complaining about sex [again!]. I think I'm going to fly to Paris to visit Monica, my other wife. Around 1am I decided to make XP squared, then I stumbled across this site, createblog dot com. It had all these teenagers raving about Photoshop. Pfft. What's wrong with MS Paint?!  At least one user uses it, Kathleen. [I heart you my dear child.] I'm happy someone supports me! So around 5am I fly to New York to buy myself a Jacob this rapper named Kanye West, who also adores Jacob's work. Well off to the office.As always, Bill Gates  Would I read that? Maybe once in a while, to get a laugh outta me.
