Sorry, books > show. Aaron Rose is supposed to be WAY hotter and not look like the lead singer of some shitty band.
Blair had a short-lived thing for Aaron but then it just got creepy because they were going to be step-siblings. I haven't been watching GG lately, but has Serena's brother ever been introduced into the show? He SERIOUSLY needs to be added. And let me just say, he'd better be f**king HOT. |

That's interesting, because I can't really actually bring myself to watch a full episode of Gossip Girl anymore no matter how hard I try. =(
And I've watched a lot of bad TV shows. ie One Tree Hill Though, I have to say it is a LOT better than that Secret Life show. |

Gossip Girl is about a million times better than One Tree Hill. And that might be an understatement. I'd say the Secret Life was better than One Tree Hill, which is the most absurd melodramatic piece of shit I've ever watched. I've seen most of this season because when it comes on after Gossip Girl, my roommates and I get sucked into it by that car crash on the side of the road attraction. It is just so unbelievably terrible that I do not think my words can do it justice. Secret Life was bad, but amusing. "Does this count as anal?" Best line ever. But Gossip Girl I actually like. It's shallow, but oh so pretty. The acting's not that bad and while it's dramatic it's not stupidly overblown.
But I am way too much of a lit snob to read the books. |

The books are way different compared to the show. At first I preferred the books, but since they're so different I can appreciate the show for what it is.
