theres this picture that i want to use as my backfroun for my layout since i sorta re-re-re-make my layouts from everything else

You could stretch it out on MS Paint, but it will loose all it's quality and become pixelated...

You cannot increase the size of an image with a significant loss of image quality. It's impossible. Don't try it. There's no remedy.
And because I believe so wholeheartedly in good image quality, I am unwilling to stretch it out for you on Photoshop. That's just abuse of a great image-editing software. Sorry, no can do. |

If you stretch it, it will probably loose alot of its quality and look disorted, especially depending on which way you widen it.

It can be done, by heavily blurring the image, resizing it, and then sharpening it, and then blurring it some more.
And then it looks like crap. |

You can print the image, scan it, import it to photoshop, and adjust the dpi/resolution settings. I did this with a small image and made it pretty large without loss of quality.

Plus, you'd need a pretty good scanner. But, ANYWAYS. Since, no one stretched the picture and she found a new picture to use, I shall close this and send it off to Resolved, eh? |
