I really liked the song when it first came out. The video is pretty interesting. I never really associated that whole African theme with the song though. But after seeing the video I get why he did it. Kanye's videos are always entertaining. They're never dull like others out there.

whenever he says "you lose" i keep think he's saying "zulu's" like the african tribe.
yeah honestly i like this video. i think it's about 7 million times better than the song, becuase i still hate the song. based on reading comments on youtube and blogs, it seems like people either really like it or really hate it. they either says it makes no sense or they have some big theory of the symbolism and what not in the video. i think it's great that it's provoking thought and opinion, getting people to wonder how they think this relates to the song. this is so much better than his Champion video... |

^I liked the simplicity of the Champion music video. But like most KanYe videos, I scratch my head.
I scratched my head on this one, too. But it's really good. I don't think this tops, "All Falls Down," though, but that's my College Dropout bias kicking in. |
