We know what you meant by the word "balenced" but CNN? You're kidding, right? Everyone knows CNN is as left as it gets. They are the least balenced of all. Fox leans towards the right. MSNBC, I can't really say as I watch it the least.
I hear ya hi-C but you kind of missed my point. Like I said, I'm not trying to defend Palin because I have many doubts about her myself. I was just using what some democrats and media are doing to her as an example that politics are gong in the wrong direction. I think we can all agree on that. I'll watch the interview, but intervews are stupid. Run by whatever network shows it. I'm more interested in debates. When are we going to start seeing those? Anyone know? |

I love when you go to a forum and talk about a story, be it political, informative, or flat our humorous and people knock it for citing Fox as your source. LOLBUSHLOVERGOSHOOTABABY. Then they proceed to inform you that we're the reason the Earth is going to turn into a great ball of fire and that a Black man who is very noticeably charismatic is going to change America, and bring us back to our glory days lead by Republicans.

And here we have Damon's polar opposite: DIDDY.
This guy is a self proclaimed dumbass, right? I mean, you can't act like that without knowing you're a dumbass... right? Does he really expect anyone to take him seriously? I swear, some people, especially some celebrities, need to just keep their mouths shut. The guy can't even finish his thoughts. People pay him to preform (why I don't know) not to hear him talk about the election. I mean, I appreciate him encouraging youth to vote, but couldn't he at least pretend he has a brain? If anything, this should be used across schools to keep kids off drugs. THIS IS YOUR BRAIN ON DRUGS. lmao. |

i thought that's what happened, i do that every other time.
ummmm yeah i mean i wouldn't depend on diddy to deliver my news, but i wouldn't depend on any celeb. since they're basically just giving their opinion like everyone else. that video was annoying, although he has made a response video to that apologizing for a few stupid statements. i'd prefer to listen to matt damon...but they're still saying basically the same thing. they think it's crazy to put palin in that position. and i'm with you on that yan lin |

True. I just don't understand why someone, trying to encourage others, would act that ridiculous. It would only attract negative attention. At least, I hope.
Oh he did post a video reply? I'll have to check that out. Maybe there's hope for Diddy, or whatever he wishes to be called this month, after all. |

This guy has a great way of twisting nothing into something. I guess that would be why he's a journalist for MSNBC. |

We know what you meant by the word "balenced" but CNN? You're kidding, right? Everyone knows CNN is as left as it gets. Wrong. CNN is about as green as it gets. Green as in money. They're a business. They're business is selling advertisements. The "news" -- if you want to call it that -- is just a way to get people to watch their ads. So CNN's really neither left nor right -- they'll just air whatever story is most likely to get them more advertising money. |

So CNN's really neither left nor right -- they'll just air whatever story is most likely to get them more advertising money. Which is typical of any news station, website, paper, etc. This probably isn't the best thing to do for fact finding, but I enjoy reading people's political blogs for news and opinions. Granted, I'll still read the Economist or even CNN, AP, sites like that. |

Which is typical of any news station, website, paper, etc. Well, yes. I'm not implying that CNN is better or worse than MSNBC, Fox, etc. But smoke was specifically talking about CNN being "left", which is a complete fabrication. CNN isn't left. It just does whatever it takes to get money. In fact, the whole claim that the media has a "liberal bias" is farcical. The media just presents whatever makes them the most money and keeps people watching. |

QUOTE When John McCain agreed to appear on the day-time talk fest known as The View, he may not have been expecting too many hard-hitting questions. But the Arizona senator was aggressively pressed on VP candidate Sarah Palin's qualifications to be vice president, as well as his new negative campaign ads that several independent fact-checks have called downright misleading. Co-host Barbara Walters immediately asked McCain about a remark he’d made that Palin might just be the most "marvelous running mate" ever, asking, "that's not a little strong?" "We politicians are never given to exaggerations or hyperbole, as you know," McCain joked, before praising Palin as the most "popular governor in America" and one who has united a "spark in America." Walters went on to press Palin's reformist credentials, noting McCain has served in Washington for more than two decades and asking repeatedly, "who's she going to reform, you?" McCain began to answer by saying Democrats have held control of Congress for two years, before Walters quickly interrupted: “But tell me who she is going to reform — we aren't talking about the economy, we're not talking about housing, she was chosen to reform, who is she going to reform?" "The Democrat Party, the Republican Party, even an independent," McCain said, appearing somewhat frustrated, "She'll reform all of Washington." "How? What will she do," Walters appearing somewhat exasperated said. "What is she going to reform specifically, senator?" McCain said Palin had a strong record on vetoing earmark spending. "The fact is she was a reform governor, she took on an incumbent governor of her own party and defeated him. She sold the airplane and fired the chef –" he began. "She sold the airplane at a loss," an unrelenting Walters interrupted. McCain was later pressed on the increasingly derisive tone of the campaign, and his new television commercial that carries the widely discredited claim Obama supported comprehensive sex education of kindergarteners as an Illinois state senator. McCain defended the ad’s claims, as well as those of a Web ad that said Obama’s “Lipstick on a Pig” comments were directed at Palin. He added that if Obama had agreed to a series of townhalls he’d proposed, the tone of the campaign might have been more amicable. "If we had done what I asked Senator Obama to do, I don't think you'd see the same tenor of this campaign," he said. “Why don't you ask Obama the next time he's on this show why won't he be in town meetings with me?" "You bring us Sarah Palin and we'll ask Obama," Walters quipped. maybe we should just switch to watching The View |

That could be part of their agenda, but I still believe they're liberal. That's my own opinion that I've come to after watching the network. |

Wow I think a vein popped in that guys head. Anyone else see that? As "twisted" as it was, he brings up a good point. Why hasn't he shared his plan with the Pres/Congress?This guy has a great way of twisting nothing into something. I guess that would be why he's a journalist for MSNBC. maybe we should just switch to watching The View I saw that interview. It was AMAZING. That article doesn't even mention the women's exchange with McCain over abortion, which was my favorite part. 'Cos, you know, McCain's for a strict adherence to what the founding fathers wrote, so Whoopi was like, "Do I have to worry about becoming a slave?" and Barbara was like, "Us white folk will take care of you." Interesting. I never thought of it that way. That could be part of their agenda, but I still believe they're liberal. That's my own opinion that I've come to after watching the network. How often do you watch it? What do you watch on it? And, btw, CNN's also been accused of being conservative at various points in time.
