Speaking of John Mayer, I'm going to go ahead and say he actually did a good job covering "Bold As Love". (Jimi Hendrix)

Iron and Wine's cover of Such Great Heights by The Postal Service.
or
Social Distortion's cover of Don't Think Twice by Bob Dylan.
They did an AMAZING job on that cover. I like it WAY better than the original version.

It's a tough one. Either Tommyknocker's cover (Unless remixes don't count) of Twist by Korn, or Alien Ant Farm's cover of Smooth Criminal by Michael Jackson.

Don't have a favorite, but I think Jesse McCartney doing "Bleeding Love" was interesting. Well, the song was intended for him to sing.

I actually heard the cover on Perez Hilton and I wasn't watching the video while listening to it (because, like always, I don't care for the music video anyway). But yeah I just watched it. WTF? They should Video on Trial that shit. Licking that honey(?) off his face...gross.

Yeah but what else would they lick...

I don't even want to think about it.

I listen to this so often now that I don't even remember how the original sounds like.

This is OLD, so I'm not sure how many of you have heard it, but Ike & Tina Turner's cover of "Proud Mary" (originally by Creedence Clearwater Revival) is one of the most excellent covers ever.

I've always been a big fan of Nirvana's cover of "Son of a Gun" (originally by The Vaselines). It just has a great sing-songy kind of feel to it when Cobain plays it.
