What are some good/interesting/weird/terrible mind-f**k books you've read recently?
And by mind-f**k, I mean anything philosophical, cultish, weird, or anything that brings up new ideas, predicts bizarre outcomes of current ideas, etc. I'm halfway through A Clockwork Orange and I'm REALLY liking it (despite however much Burgess hates it, himself), especially the new slang and everything. For school, I'm reading Plato's Republic, which isn't exactly "mindf**k," but he brings up this idea of "utopia" that's pretty ... out there. :D |
