whats up with guys these days? they dont want to be in relationships anymore? Options

my friends and ive been noticing WHY guys these days dont want to be in relationships (the boyfreind/girlfriend status) anymore? some would want to be in a "open relationship", leave it as "dating" but nothing farther than that, or the classic sayings "im not ready/i need time/ i want to stay single/ i dont want to hurt you..etc"...?

but seriously though, why is that? its hard to even find a guy youre interested in and wants to be in a relationship :/ do guys just not want to deal with it all together or what?

I'm a girl and I don't want to be in a serious relationship right now. I mean, I'm going to school full time, working part time, and taking care of my mom and helping the rest of the family. Being with someone shouldn't feel like a job or another responsibility, so I think it's fair to the other person to avoid that happening. You may just not be looking the right place, either.

that true, i thought about that as a possibility as well...but sometimes i dont get some guys because they say they want someone to be with but then they dont. but anywho, haha somtimes i like to guys are just kinda lazy about the whole relationship part because its "serious" and it has to deal w/ a lot of work (which i totally understand because it is). it just kinda makes me bum out a bit because i see other people in one around my age and its like "WHERE CAN I FIND ME ONE OF THOSE?!" haha.

yeah i think those are the feelings that everybody goes through too..the freedom of being single and then the urge/wanting of being in a relationship. ahhh another reason why we cant have everything we want :/

Honestly, you're in high school so you should be able to go out and have and have somewhere there for you. That doesn't mean that you have to get into a really serious relationship. Make sure that you both understand what type of relationship (for lack of better words) you both are getting into. Soon you'll be going to college and you'll have even more opportunities to meet people. Most of the guys that I went to school with were immature, haha.

uhhh, im not saying its a huge problem that they say they dont want to be. and i honestly do love that they are being honest..just that its weird that most guys are being like that now. so its hard to find one that wants to be IN one.
