Well, the filming wrapped up way before the release date was changed, so the November premiere doesn't change anything. The movie is just being edited now.

I know that. Still though.. it seems rushed.

Did you really read all thirty pages?? Haha. Welcome! thumbsup.gif

I was in the cafeteria scenes. :] All I did was sit at a table right behind Bella's [ and the Cullens/Hales walked right behind me...@__@ It was so hard not to turn and look ] and pantomime, lol. I walked past the camera a few times, got to openly gape at the vampires as they walked in [ it was great, to be able to do so with the camera on us XD ], and got to meet Stephenie Meyer as well.

*laughs* Awwww. ^^;; I am lucky, I will admit that. I didn't think I'd ever have such a chance. @_@

That's really cool. Did you get to talk to any of the main actors? Or take pictures with them?

You'll have to tell us which one you are when the movie's out! Or you can post a photo of yourself and then let us try to identify you. tongue.gif

We actually weren't allowed to talk to any of them, lol, so most didn't, but this one girl did talk to Kellan, and it was so not fair, because she and her friend got pictures with him in the waiting area while everyone else was out at lunch. <.<

Kristen Stewart did talk to me for literally a second, lol. And my brilliant response to her was a laugh and a "Yeah!" (She was saying how they made the whole set seem like an actual high school).

We snuck a bunch of pictures of them on the set, though. x] And during lunch. Then shared with each other, hahaha. Shhh, don't tell anyone. ;]

Hahaha, I don't even know if I'll be able to clearly see myself. x]

It most definite is! :] It was super tiring though, haha. I was up at 4 in the morning both days I worked on the set, because I had to be there by 5:45 a.m. It was annoying, and I was thoroughly sleep-deprived, but ahh, so worth it.

QUOTE
As some of you may have heard, my partial draft of Midnight Sun was illegally posted on the Internet and has since been virally distributed without my knowledge or permission or the knowledge or permission of my publisher.

I have a good idea of how the leak happened as there were very few copies of Midnight Sun that left my possession and each was unique. Due to little changes I made to the manuscript at different times, I can tell when each left my possession and to whom it was given. The manuscript that was illegally distributed on the Internet was given to trusted individuals for a good purpose. I have no comment beyond that as I believe that there was no malicious intent with the initial distribution.

I did not want my readers to experience Midnight Sun before it was completed, edited and published. I think it is important for everybody to understand that what happened was a huge violation of my rights as an author, not to mention me as a human being. As the author of the Twilight Saga, I control the copyright and it is up to the owner of the copyright to decide when the books should be made public; this is the same for musicians and filmmakers. Just because someone buys a book or movie or song, or gets a download off the Internet, doesn't mean that they own the right to reproduce and distribute it. Unfortunately, with the Internet, it is easy for people to obtain and share items that do not legally belong to them. No matter how this is done, it is still dishonest. This has been a very upsetting experience for me, but I hope it will at least leave my fans with a better understanding of copyright and the importance of artistic control.

So where does this leave Midnight Sun? My first feeling was that there was no way to continue. Writing isn't like math; in math, two plus two always equals four no matter what your mood is like. With writing, the way you feel changes everything. If I tried to write Midnight Sun now, in my current frame of mind, James would probably win and all the Cullens would die, which wouldn't dovetail too well with the original story. In any case, I feel too sad about what has happened to continue working on Midnight Sun, and so it is on hold indefinitely.

Aw, sneaky girl, giving up lunch to do that. (And who's Kellan? I should know this, but I only know the names of three actors who are in the movie. ^^;)

Oh, that's cool! Does she sound monotonous like some people think she does?

I'm sure they didn't mind. Really, I don't see how the staff could expect you not to take any pictures.

Kellan Lutz is the actor that portrays Emmett. ^^

Hahaha, she's not entirely monotonous, but...I'm a bit biased, since I'm one of the people that think she is. x]

*laughs* I knowww. I didn't take any pictures myself [ well, except for one that my cousin snuck of Rob during lunch with my phone...although technically, that was HER taking a picture, and not me. x] ], but I had a bunch sent to my phone, lol. I'll post some up, when I find the time to put them on my computer.

Awww to those who said they're jealous. ^^;; I'm sure you'll get a chance to be an extra in a great movie someday! :]

As for the Midnight Sun leak...I was so frustrated when I found out. =/ Indefinitely COULD mean forever; it's just an unspecified, long amount of time.

Haha.. I hate that I have to read it on a screen. I finished it though. I've been reading it on my ipod since. I want to print it out but it's so many pages. If I do I must have a nice cover for it so it won't get as damaged.

since i'm really secure in my sexuality...i'll admit that i have been reading twilight. mostly because my gf had been reading it so it was just laying around and i started reading it out of curiosity because everyone says its on the level of harry potter. i needed to find out what the hype was about.

so now i can officially say, IT IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE LEVEL OF HARRY POTTER. wtf? stephanie meyer is not even on the same level as a writer as j.k. rowling. sometimes (meaning quite frequently) her sentences don't even really make sense. also, this is like 5th grade reading level as a whole, but she randomly throws in big words here and there to make herself feel good. i don't see how people could even compare these. especially since harry potter has mass appeal and twilight doesn't imo. if you don't like romance teenage cheesy books, then twilight is completely useless. it's pretty much directed at teenage girls, unlike harry potter which a wide variety of people can read.

bella is f**king annoying. all she does is hyperventilate, mope, and trip over stuff. oh yeah, and describe edward's facial expression. the entire first book is basically a play by play of every single expression that edward makes.

i would put this on the level of all other teen romance novels, aka the shit level, if it wasn't for the fact that the story actually does make you wanna read it stubborn.gif once you start reading you have to know what happens to them, which is why i'm half way through the second book mad.gif and my gf is on the fourth, even though every time we stop reading we start bitching about how stupid and "hoaky" it is. this book sucks, but now i wanna know what happens mad.gif at least they are incredibly easy and the font is like size 18 so it takes about two days to read a book.

my review of this book is that it sucks, and i'm amazed at how much attention it's gotten.

It is still completely ERRONEOUS to compare Twilight and Harry Potter. THEY"RE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.

Apples and oranges here people. The only thing they've got in common are really attractive actors.

And that they're both fantasy. That's IT.

shifty.gif

it's mostly the combination of 5th grade reading level and 18 point font. some of it is interest, I GUESS. it's not interesting really though, but it's like you needa figure out how they're gonna get away from the crazy vampires next.
