Present yourself to others
Caring about the outside and Never fixing the inside Your little thoughts torment you You bleed on the inside and you can't see Your own beauty and love You laugh on the outside and Keep your thoughts on the inside Spewing out the dark perversion That you yourself have never known You try to love yourself for who you are but All you can see are the bad Your eyes sparkle with fake life You open yourself to the world Forgetting your secrets hidden inside And torn apart by all the looks You see your true fate in your heart You let it all go... Yeah. I wrote this yesterday when everybody kept telling me I was too insecure about myself. It's about how I've felt before when I started to try believing in what people were saying about me. I trusted one person who told me so many things about myself and then he turned out to be a lie. |
