Tom Cruise's character tripped me out at the end. He was gettin' down with his bad self.
Robert was something else, too. Actually, all the characters in this movie were enjoyable.

I saw it...it was alright. More dumb comedy, I saw this right after Pineapple Express. Haha, I was like...that's not Vietnamese...n oh it ended up being Chinese cause they got lost -_-. *shrugs it's weird when I watch movies that are like, of actors acting as actors...acting in a movie? -_-" It's not what I expected it to be.

I saw this last night and couldn't agree more. I found it weird to watch actors acting as actors. I expected it to be different.

The references to the 'retarded' people got old quickly in my opinion; it wasn't even funny most of the time.

I though Robert Downing Jr's role was genius. But of course I'm not black so I wouldn't find that offensive (if at all).

I wish I wouldn't have spent 10+ on the ticket, but now I know.

I downloaded the movie, so the quality wasn't really great and I had NO IDEA THAT WAS TOM CRUISE!! But now that I'm rewatching it - the nose gives it all away.

Haha, I remember watching that. I had no idea what Tropic Thunder was, and stupid me, I didn't even know it was a real movie! but now I really want to see it. When I went to watch Stepbrothers and I saw the full preview, I was like OMG, I really want to see that. lol.

Well clearly a black guy couldn't play the role...the movie is ABOUT a white guy who plays a black guy. In that case, there's no reason to be uppity about it.

Yea, that's what I was gunna say, the whole point is that a white man is playing a black man.
