I miss you already. I feel like at any minute you're going to call me to ask me how I am and let me know you are on your way to my house :(. This summer was amazing. You are wonderful. It's been three years since the last time I saw your face. I miss you so much it hurts. Days like these are so hard, but I try my hardest to stay strong for mom and the girls. I know you'd be so proud. We couldn't go visit you today. Mom said she just couldn't handle it. She's been taking it pretty hard this year. If you can hear anything I say I just want you to help them stay strong. It hurts me, but more than anything I just want them to be at peace with it. God, I wish I would have told you how much I love you, how much you taught me, how thankful I was to have such a great dad. It's things like that you learn the hard way, though. I hope I'm turning into everything you ever wanted me to be. I know you would love to be here just as bad as I want you here. I'd give ANYTHING to see you or talk to you again.
