So i will be starting school next wednesday and i could use a new backpack. My other one isnt that bad except for some of the parts inside are ripping, a little bit big, and that its pretty dirty.
I need a good durable backpack that i know could last for a good year or two and have it not be that big but still carry well. Last year i was stuck having to carry my books for the past three classes and i just want to prepare for the fact that it could happen again. So any good, durable backpakcs that anyone knows of? and maybe any pictures of them? |

There's a topic like this in the Fashion forum: http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=207295
But Jansport backpacks are pretty much the best if you're looking for something durable. They come with a lifetime guarantee, so if it breaks, you send it to the company and they repair it. For free. |

Ever since like 4th grade I've used l.l.bean bookbags, I think I've been using the same one since around 8th grade and I'm in college now. I'll probably carry my books for college but I still use the backpack when I travel.
I've only used Jansport once and it broke XD But I don't bother getting a new one. Their neat looking though. |

Yeah i did see that post but it seemed like it was more for tote bags and i cant use tote bags because i cant have the potential pressure on one shoulder because i have bad shoulders. but thanks Ever since like 4th grade I've used l.l.bean bookbags, I think I've been using the same one since around 8th grade and I'm in college now. ^Lol yea, llbean's designs don't really change much, and most of the time its just basic colors.
I typically used this one: http://www.llbean.com/webapp/wcs/stores/se...479-tn&np=Y I don't think the design has changed much over the years but it was a good bag, and it really can hold your shoes at the bottom. I use to put my soccer stuff in the bottom instead of carrying a duffel bag >_< |

Dakine!! Those bags are great. My sister got a nice one for about $30 of which she's had for about 4 years now? And she has some pretty heavy textbooks...
North Face is really good too. I had a North Face "Jester" backpack for four of my five years of high school. It's kind of gross and dirty and strangely ripped at the back now, but it was really good for the time I've used it. =] |

Jansport has always been fine for me. I've been using my current one for probably 4 years now and it hasn't ripped at all despite my massive book loads.

Yeah, if you go to Costco and turn in your used Jansport Backpacks, you can get a free one. Lifetime guarantees FTW. ^_^

i've used dickies, jansport and nike. they're all pretty good but i would have to say the nike one is the better of the 3. it's durable & comfortable. i've had it for six years. i don't use it for school anymore but i do take it along when i travel.

Jansport is the best.
They're really durable and have different sizes as well as designs. I use a big canvas tote from Urban Outfitters for school, but I doubt that's the kind you're looking for. |

Jansports are good, except those small ones that usually come in patterns or corduroy or something.
Dakine and Swiss are good brands too. Any backpacks that you find at outdoor sporting stores are probably good. |
