The chinese women olympians are so f**king tiny. Especially the gymasts. Even though they're 14 they look like they're 10

I can say the same about Shawn Johnson. She looks like she's 12.

The romanian gymnasts remind me of mechanized robots.
So do the chinese soldiers "Right,left,right,left..."

Wow, Phelps is hot.

Damn right!

Nastia did really well last night.
Maybe the pressure got to the Chinese gymnast?
I don't remember her doing that shakily on the balance beam before the all-around games.

Nastia was so amazing! Did anyone else notice how freakishly long her legs are? ... holy...

^^ Totally.
Long and skinny.
Jealous.

What are the chances of Nastia and Shawn returning for London?

^ I can't say for sure since I don't know much about them, but from what I do know, they've had some prior experience. And with artistic gymnastics, the younger you are as a female, the more of an advantage there is for you (hence the whole Chinese age controversy). So I would say that they're probably going for London, but they might not do terribly well, and defo not 2016.

Her long legs make her look really, really awkward on the beam though. Actually, in all the events. Shawn Johnson looked a lot more...gymnastic-y? Haha. But it didn't prevent Nastia from pwning.

The HK commentators here are retarded. They're like...OMG wow Western people are so open, they openly kiss their coaches. And I'm like...dude. That's her dad.

LMAO Yeah. I saw her coach slapped her ass and I was like WTF. This coach is lucky as hell, but then I realize it was her father. I wouldn't mind slapping that. shifty.gif

^ Yeah I have a problem with the American gymnasts landings. It's not that they're not clean landings or something, but when the raise their arms and move from one side to the other, they do it so fast, like they're twitching, or it feels really "cheerleader". I prefer one or two less frantic ones.

Yeah she needs to stand still, so I can check her body out better. It's always in motion so it's hard to check her out. shifty.gif

The Russians and Romanians, while technically alright, f**ked up some bits and really didn't have much of the elegance and lightweight feeling that the medalists had. And the Chinese girl WASN'T that good - that's why she got Bronze.

wtf is with all the China hate?!

I don't hate China -_- really, I didn't think Russia (or was it Romania...nooo I always mix them up) underperformed the Chinese girl at all. She was pretty graceful...but WHATEVAAAA

I did think some of Shawn Johnnson's scores were a bit low...I remember the commentators saying something about that too. Haha Liukin looks kinda tall to be a gymnast, but she did well.

China is an awful country with awful pollution, awful treatment of the religious, and awful treatment of people who they believe belong to them. They never deserved to host the Olympics.
