Hm, I wonder how they chose just those 13 words. It's really difficult to explain to someone who doesn't speak English what a word means when there is no literal translation.

does anybody speak any of these languages? so that we all know the right way to pronounce it?
my sister said this is how you pronounce Esprit de l’escalier: espreet day scalia apparently the direct translation is 'spirit of the stares' |
