I had the same problem all day until I downloaded the newest version of AIM. I think that AIM is trying to get everyone to get the new aim.

no, i'm suspecting AOL is closing OSCAR to all libpurple clients, as meebo and gaim/pidgin don't work on it.

but yeah, please come in the chat tonight

apple has a contract with AIM, so it should probably still work.

It feels so empty. :[

iChat still gives me that online host crap that moni has. It hasn't happened on Meebo when I'm at work, though.

You know what's funny. AOL/AIM hasn't even sent out a notice on their website or something telling that they are aware of the problem and are going to fix it. At least let us have that comfort of knowing it's getting fix. But nothing. No word from AOL at all about it. I know it's pissing alot of people though. Most already decided to quit AIM for good and switch to other clients.

Don't quote me on this, but I think AIM 6.8 (the newest version) works best.

Third parties and older versions both seem to be having problems at the moment.
