LOL.

What bubble tea places do they have in Canada?

I actually don't think I'm gonna get the job at that bubble tea place anymore haha. xD

But to answer your question, there are a bunch of places! At the most popular mall here where I live, there are at least 3/4 places that sell bubble tea. It helps that a large percentage of the population is Asian lol

Crishy, what's with you and all these awesome clubs?

Name: Jenny/Yunri
Favorite flavor of bubble tea: Honeydew~
First time you had bubble tea: I've always had it growing up, so when I was little?...
Store you usually buy from: Sweetheart Cafe, any boba shop in Taiwan (fave being 5... something, can't remember name! x_______x')

Isn't it only two? xD

Sweetheart Cafe sounds pretty. Is that in SF?

I haven't seen any boba places in Florida. :(

^LOL it's all white people there. JAYYYYKAYYYY I'm not racist at all. shifty.gif

YEEEEEAAAAAAUUUUHHHHH YUNRIIIIIII!!!! :]

Yeah, I guess it makes sense that there're a lot of bubble tea places in Canada since there're a lot of Asians there. XD Do they have the same chain stores as the US? Like, Quickly's, Tenren, Verde, TapEx..... can't think of any at the moment.

I don't think this thread likes me -- every time I post, the entry deletes itself. ;___; Anyway...

moninja: Well, one's my real/nickname and the other's an alias, so they both work. :]

jaeminnie: You mean the shop name? I was pretty sure it was five, but I asked my brother today and he says the name was '50 *insert word here*'. O: And Sweetheart's is in Berkeley + Oakland Chinatown, although they might have a shop in San Fran as well.

I'm more of a local shop kind of customer (in the States anyway), so I've never really heard of these other huge chains that you guys are talking about (Quickly's, Ten Ren etc). >_<; Are they all over the place?

Oh, and I had watermelon boba today~~

You're right, though; there's hardly any racial diversity. :/ I don't know how boba and DBSK fans survive there.

No, I meant that I've only started two clubs. xD

I wish the boba shops in New York had better names. I mentioned this before you joined the club, but the only interesting one is Uwie Uwie. ._. Sweetheart Cafe sounds so...lovely.

I think Quickly might have more stores in SoCal. There seem to be quite a few in San Francisco, though: store locations.

Welcome to the three new members. :) Stephanie, where do you live? I've never heard of Boba Loca.

I dunno, but that is convenient. How much is it, and do you get a student discount?

I wish there was a boba place that close to my school. The nearest one is a 10-15 minute walk, and lunch is only 45 minutes. :(

I want some right now. Maybe I'll go to the library.

Is the library near the boba place?

I haven't had that much boba this summer. 'Tis sad.

Ahaha no. XD It's just that my mom doesn't approve of my not-quite-daily boba habits, so I'll buy some on my way to the library and be done with it before I go home. grinnn.gif

Why, thank you. :DDDDD

Yeah, it did. :( I'm taking seven classes, and it's my senior year. I don't know what I was thinking.

But I shall try to post like crazy during my breaks! >] And when all the underclassmen have to do STAR testing and exit exams and whatnot.
