What I Did on My Summer Vacation Options

Remember those essays from elementary school? I think that was the last time I had to write one of those. Anyways, I:

* graduated from school
* moved three times (to Queens, and then two places in Brooklyn)
* fell in love with Brooklyn
* paid rent for the first time ever (but only once, it was a month-long sublet)
* worked a horrible job that only paid me commission
* subsequently quit that job, quite dramatically, too
* ran out of money
* drank a lot of alcohol (which explains the last bullet point, LOL)
* went to a few free concerts
* made sushi (unsuccessfully) for the first time
* broke up with my boyfriend
* smiled as and after the break-up happened (it was over the phone)
* moved back home

* had sex on an air mattress
* been sexiled, except without the exile (ew)
* got nakie in front of a group of folks while playing truth or dare
* performed an interpretive dance involving my tits while playing the aforementioned game of truth or dare

-Took my puppies to the beach.

This summer, I;

- Started the lease on my first house
- Spent a day runing round London mostly naked, except for a shredded tank-top, a handtowel, and flip flops.
- Lost my lip piercing and threw a tantrum about it in a crowded train station
- Bitched a LOT about my crummy job
- Loved most of the people I work with at my crummy job
- Drank too much on several occasions
- Cut my wisdom teeth, a process about which I made vocal my displeasure
- Bought far too many DVDs, but spent a lot of enjoyable time watching them with my friends
- Complained about the weather
- Dicked around, pretty much.

Good summer

I had an OK summer. I wish I got a lot more done, but I was more productive than the past summers anyway. I thought I was gonna have a lot of free time to play all the Metal Gear Solids and other video games, but I never did. It's cool though, kept myself busy.

- Traveled to Texas
- Traveled to Washington D.C.
- Finished my P.E. credits for school
- Partied
- Watched Dark Knight, Charade, The Last Samurai, meh, a couple movies, but not as much as I thought I would
- Panty shot!
- Visited a really cool photography museum in Belgium. It was my first photography museum.
- Saw Guy Bourdin's work for the first time.
- Finished the design for my business/calling card for photography. Finally.
- Used Xanga again
- Ate at Olive Garden for the first time since the sperm incident they had
- Bunch of other stuff I don't remember at the moment

Three times in one summer? Packing and unpacking must have been so tedious, and the moving must have cost a lot.

It wasn't too bad. The first time I moved, to Queens, I didn't unpack my stuff because I knew I wasn't staying there long, same thing happened when I moved to the second location in Brooklyn. It didn't really cost "a lot," because I used public transportation to move my stuff and I had unlimited metrocards, but the actual getting there WAS tedious. Especially the last time I moved. I made four trips to and from that day. After that I joined Zipcar, cuz there was no way in hell I was going through that again.

Oh, I was thinking that you had to pay U-Haul or something for all three times. And doesn't it take at least one and a half hours to get from Queens to Brooklyn? :X I wouldn't have the patience for that.

Hmmmm... *is figuring this out* (It normally took me about 25 minutes to get to Union Square from Astoria on the N... It normally took me about 30 to get from Union Square to Prospect Park on the Q...) If you factor in waiting time, I guess it took almost an hour and a half (like an hour and 15 minutes, something like that, depending on how long I'd have to wait). But when I moved from Brooklyn to Queens it was like, Queens -> Williamsburg, where I was stashing my stuff temporarily, which meant I only had to take the G, so it was a shorter trip, I guess 30 minutes or less. Then I got car service from Williamsburg to Crown Heights. Either way it was time consuming.

i'm interested in psychiatry so i interned at a mental health center. extremely eye-opening and i learned SO much!
