QUOTE I felt so bad for Lenny though. ): I cried so much. Me too... But it had to be done though and in a way it was better that he was killed quickly without being scared. |

Ahh! That was so sadd...!! And I felt so bad for the owner too, because he said that he regretted not taking the whole situation himself and the responsibility of his own dog.
But what did you think about Curley's wife. Personally,I thought she was completely misunderstood. It was all Curley's fault for the reason why she was flirtatious around other men and thus considered a "whore". Curley was such a jerk! The only bad thing that happened to him throughout the story was that his wife died. |

We read it as a class in jr english.
I liked the story, but I think i need to read it on my own because my teacher had us read it aloud and I got bored. I really enjoy when a teacher breaks down the book and has discussions. I loved reading Macbeth in my senior year, because of all the underlying themes within the book. |

This was an independent read in the 9th grade. It was light, so most of the class enjoyed it. The foreshadowing and parallelism is pretty deep.

for me, foreshadowing is always good.
