The splatter on the side is cool. I like how you stuck with only pretty much three colors. i like the font.

i don't like the Famous stars & straps though.

^Same here. The fonts you used to "Famous Stars & Straps" look choppy around the edges & they're kind of hard to read.

yeeah, my first div layout, was horrible, &my layouts now are
still pretty amateur compared to others here. xP
but, i like it, &agree about the fonts.

I'm personally not a big fan of minimal colors, but if that's what you were going for that's cool too. :D

And like the others said, you could try improving the text part by possibly switching the font, and maybe making the white blocks in the bg a bit smaller/more subtle? They can be distracting.

For your first time, good job!
