That's exactly what I tried sayin'.
Sorry, no, really. I already said that I shouldn't have to compromise.
Why can't you mods just admit you're wrong for once?

You don't HAVE to compromise if you don't want to. But you may find out that that means other people are just going to make the decision for you.

Wrong about what?

You're wrong for calling out Javonn. That was really uncall for. That was a no-no up there. However, Javonn's response totally brought the movie with Nick Cannon "You Got Served" to mind. _unsure.gif

I would like it if you replied to his response, instead of ignoring it please. cry.gif

Also, i think if the mods let us non-mods put our input on ideas then it will make CB a more enjoyable place.
Thats just my opinion though.

Are you not posting in the feedback forum? ..............

Just because someone who's not a mod has an opinion, it doesn't mean that I as a mod can't disagree. Likewise, mods sometimes disagree with each other too. This villainization is getting absurd (again).

You addressed the mods in this topic. I'm part mod.

What's the problem, still?
*puts kreios on ignore*

You know I don't even dislike you that much, as far as the other mods go, but I'm just gonna have to put you on hold for now.

It's not a dictatorship if you offer to work with someone to reach a compromise, and they are unwilling to do so. If you don't feel like your willing to change what you think should be done, that's completely fine, and it's your prerogative. But if other people disagree, and you are still unwilling to compromise, then you're position is going to be left behind.

I fyou refuse to work with someone, it doesn't make them a dictator if they continue to work aound your stubborness.

I shouldn't have to compromise. How many times do I have to say this? Why the hell would I compromise something I should already be able to do, according to the rules?

Saying something a million times doesn't make it anymore correct than it was the first time.

EXACTLY, finally, you mods are starting to make a little more sense. Y'all should take Nicki's advice.

Honestly, I would shut up and move on, but I know if I don't complain about it, you mods could just straight up close my topics, warn me, and shut down cB World Language Day.

You guys are going to have to be the bigger people and just say "ok, we were wrong, we'll move on and let you have your cB World Language Day with no compromises."

You don't HAVE to compromise, as I have already told you. However, there was a rule about languages, whether or not you remember it, and there is going to be again, so I recommend that you work towards a compromised solution.

But you don't have to compromise, if you don't feel you should. I'm just saying that it means you're likely to be disappointed.

That's quite close-minded if you ask me. Just because something can be proven to be true, doesn't automatically make it false.

And yet, if you couldn't demonstrate that there was a rule against foreign languages, can you really hold people responsible for not following it?

Should people be punished for an invisible rule?

If yes, I demand that you be warned for your member title.

No, they shouldn't. You will note that there has been no serious suggestion of punishing anyone.

I can't prove it, and I don't much care one way or the other, to be honest, because I said, there is going to be a new one, whatever form it takes.

And out of interest, you're aware that almost ALL organizations/societies/whatever have to alter, ammend, and create new rules, right? That's why you have Congress, Britain has Parliament, etc. What do you want, a set of rules which is totally inflexble and never altered? Because I have to say that that is a very bad plan.

Furthermore, I don't entirely understand why you're screaming Nazi, considering that we've repeatedly asked for your input, and that of the other members. That makes no sense.

The difference is, I (or any other members, for that matter) have no say in the rule making. No representation. Plus, one of you already said it, cB is not a democracy. It's not a fair rule making process.

Do you genuinely think that what is said in Feedback is totally disregarded? If so, you're wrong, plain and simple. This is your platform, and you're free to give voice to your opinions. Hence why you've been asked to compromised, rather than told to shut up. I don't quite understand why you're being so melodramatic.

lol, Feedback?

Don't be dumb. I've been a mod before, Head Staff even. I know that anything that goes is ultimately up to the high staff (head staff and up). You guys and your little Boardroom.

Thomas, being a student who has took 4 years worth of Japanese Class, I am absolutely offended. You ask why Juna is so close-minded, yet look at you with this remark. I don't get pissed off easily, but wow.

Yes, things are discussed Backstage and in the Boardroom, obviously (although actually most minor changes don't go that far, but whatever). That doesn't mean that nothing said elsewhere is taken into account. If your assumption based on being a mod is that this is the case, I can only assume it was your personal tactic, and I can assure that it isn't mine, nor is it the prevailing attitude of the current staff, whatever your experiences in the past.
