okay so school is coming up and i have no job or money as yet. I've applied to over 20 places and none have called back as yet so the job thing is off the list for now. My mother wants me to babysit her friends kid while they go away for the weekend and i'm going to get paid $100.00, But the thing is that we don't have a relationship at all, we don't talk, she's always attacking me physically and verbally and whenever she wants her favours done, she uses me...i want to do it because atleast that's a start for me then my dad would give me some more money on top of that for school shopping but on the other hand; i don't want to do it because she's just using me..like she always does and i would have to ride in the car with her down there and that's gonna be sooo awkward..so would you do it? yes or no? your opinions are greatly appreciated..thanx:)

 Have you called back after you applied? Usually employers will hire people who call back. Just try applying again and see how it goes. Summer jobs are ending so a lot of places are looking to hire. |

Well, the babysitting arrangement wouldn't be with her, it would be with the people who's kids you are watching. It's just a ride there. Take headphones with you or something, so that you can avoid listening to her and talking to her.

That's a stupid question, just do it.
I don't have a very good relationship with my grandparents but I live with them and deal with it, but the only difference is I don't get radd opportunities like this. |
