Non ho alcun fonti di confermare uno di questi, ma è una interessante lettura, tuttavia, ha ha.

that's pretty cool. haha. i hope i remember that.
&also, that finish your plate thing for the Philippines
isn't as serious as they made it seem. Its not really
disrespectful. or at least, was never taught to me, &at restaurants
and stuff, no one seems to care. &my parents/grandma would have known, &they don't really mention it.

QUOTE
In China, if you finish every last bite of your meal, you are implying that you weren't given enough. Therefore, even if the meal is the most sexually delicious thing that has ever slid down your throat, you should still leave one last morsel on the plate to stare up at you mournfully while you eye it with ill-concealed resentment.

是嗎? 我只知道如果你不吃全部的食物,你未來的丈夫/妻子會很醜惡(?).

Farting seems to vary according to the situation and your current company, so ask ahead of time. Lighting the fart is frowned upon in almost all provinces.

Oh, most people have figured this out already, but this is a topic on "taboos" from different nations. I posted a link to a nice list to start off, but let's see what other ones you guys know.

Wow. this is so useful especially going on trips. the most important step before you attend any part of the world, always do research and learn their cultural meanings of gestures.

Oh, I remember in French culture, at the dinner table, you should always keep your hands above the table. Especially if you are a girl sitting next to men.
