How soon is too soon?, your love dies, how long should you wait.

ok, if you read the name of the thread. the description says..
"your love dies, how long should you wait."

yes, he is dead. he was on his way to cali when his car went off the road, down 100 feet, and caught on fire.

QUOTE(dhxdezigns @ Jul 31 2008, 05:51 AM) *
I've recently lost the most important person in my life. Edit:He was killed in a car accident about a month ago. We were together for almost a year and a half [two days shy]. We talked about getting married. We'd looked at rings and had one picked out, all he needed was money. We were perfect.

How long would you say is not long enough to wait to find someone else?

In my opinion it really depends on how long you were with the person and just how well you got along. Really it's a personal decision, I'm just curious how long people would wait.

wen u readdi..

I'm a big believer in when the time is right, your heart will let your head know.

Mizzkewl06 is right. There's no specific time period for someone who is grieving before they can date again.

you can always take time
a lot of times people are confused about having a new boyfriend/girlfriend because they are afraid that they are "replacing" your lost love
which is never true

take your time and when you find that person where you have thoughts of living with them forever your know you have the right person

i bet your boyfriend would rather have you happy then be lonly

wow i cant imagine what your going through and it must be hard.
Thats something that could take a while to recover from which is ok.
You will figure out if your ready or not to move on
and if it takes a long time thats fine.

and i agree with robbotic
this is deffinatly not something you can cure with ice cream.
and what a pathetic answer that was too.

Just take your time.
and again im so sorry for your loss.

the earlier posters may not have understood that i was trying to say he is dead. i don't think i had made myself clear therefore i made and edit. they may have thought i was just saying that we broke up or something.
