It's just the way people are around here. They would offer negative "points/ratings" to people they don't like, and positive "whatevers" to people that are in their circle. What I'm saying is it wouldn't be content-based, it'd depend on the person and whether or not the person was liked.

Also, you're probably right about the ratings not being content based. Facepunch has 1000+ users active at any given time, while we have about 500 on a good day. So needless to say, this community is relatively small and very cliquey. It would just end up being based on popularity. |

From what I read in this whole forum, there are allot of faults going on here in Createblog... Yes I know I am repeating something that has been said. I agree that isn't all just us Newbies, and it isn't all just you Vets. It's more of a combination and mixture that bashes heads. It needs to rotate like a gear, the teeth have to fit just right, or close enough that we aren't grinding on each other and break.
Allot of things could be done to fix this but as I'm not a technical kinda person, or anyone particular at all but an opinionated indivdual, I think that this forum is somewhat helping its getting all the frustration and disastrous consequences out here in the open. I think we are closer to figuring out a way to save CB than we think. |
