Have you tried searching for tutorials on Google? I'm sure they'll give you loads of choices.

You mean for a regular layout (not Xanga or Myspace)? CreateBlog has a beginner tutorial here.

We have a Making a DIV Overlay Layout thread for myspace. For what website would you like to make a div for? So that way I can move this to it's proper place or close it if necessary.

http://codeitall.com/Formatting.php#divv should help you quite a bit. It gives a reasonable explanation of a div and how to set them up.
