I voted "insecure". It's not that I think that I'm ugly (and people are more than welcome to disagree - you post yourself up on the internet and you're subject to criticism, it's as simple as that). I just get embarrassed easily.

Learned behavior. People's comments face to face aren't always as nice as when they're talking about you in a chatroom and don't know you're there.

edit; Although I do post pictures every once in a while. Just not as much as I used to. xD

Other people? I vote insecure simply because I definitely don't think everyone who's uncomfortable sharing their pictures online can be ruled out as ugly.

I voted "insecure" too.

Sometimes I'm a bit iffy about posting my pictures online... I personally don't think I'm ugly, but I do worry about what others will say about me. But meh... I don't really care anymore.

That happened to me after I posted in MP and went into the CB chat. But I don't think they were being mean to me.

I don't post a lot of pictures because I don't know who's looking at them or where they're going. Plus, I'm ugly.

Generally, insecurity. It's the Internet, people can be really harsh, and they'd rather not subject themselves to criticism that mean.

There's a lot of confident ugly people, though.

I sort of think of it like this.
"Better to remain silent and be thought an idiot than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt."
But in terms of looks.
"Better to remain hidden and be thought ugly than to post pictures and remove all doubt."

Basically, I have no interest in being that person who's ugly and posts a shitton of pictures anyway. I don't have that kind of confidence, and frankly I don't think I want to.

I really don't see the point of me posting pics of myself on the internet and fish for comments such as "You're cute" , "Oh you're so hot", "You so fine", etc. I get that alot in real life so no need for me to use the net.
