Oh my god this movie was AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGG
Even though it's a 3 hour sit, everypart had something in it.
Heath's Performance blew my mind, I was so creeped out by him at some points and sometimes I forget that it was him under all the makeup.
Anyways, was there anything after the credits? I couldn't stay because all my friends and boyfriend wanted to leave to meet up with people. I'm assuming a Heath Ledger tribute, but other then that?

^ there's nothing after the credits, so there would've been no point.

I was surprised. It was really good, but has a really grim tone nearly throughout. It's definitely not a "feel good." Especially with Rachel dying and Batman pinning Two-faced's crimes on himself. :(

^ i agree about the last part. i can't believe he did that.
what was the ending quote, something like "gotham deserves a hero like him, but they don't need him." so dry.

I saw it last night.. or rather this early morning (12:30 am showing). It was REALLY GOOD and even though we sat there for 2.5 hours, my friends and I were engrossed the whole time. Heath Ledger's performance was amazing and it just makes me more depressed about his death. cry.gif btw When the Joker hung that dude in a batman suit and it hit against the window with that dude and Harvey Dent, OMFG everyone jumped because it was so random and creepy at the same time!

BTW I saw more people with blankets outside, I guess they were waiting for the 6am showing in IMAX, when I got out at 3am. :O Damn I wish I could've seen it in IMAX, but that was completely sold out. :[

my friend went to see it at imax. but she didn't camp out, lol. and heath's performance was amazing. there were plenty of parts where i was, like, really scared of him. like the entire time i was like, "no way is that heath under there" but damn, he got this role down. i loved everything about it, the way he talked, the way he laughed. so amazing.

i JUMPED in my seat when that part happened! i was like WTF!

OMG I jumped so high when that happened! Random gunshots also made me jump(and there were a lot!) blink.gif

I loved when his bat car thing ejected him onto the back tires and turned into a motorcycle THEN he did that wall flip HOLYSHITSOCOOL!

I wasn't expecting the movie to be so comedic. Were you guys? I laughed so much through the whole movie. Especially when the Joker dressed up as that nurse and his bomb button failed. LOL!

My goodness, this was by far thee best movie that I have watched all summer. Even though it was long, I wasn't like oh man when is this gunna end? All of the actors are really good. Heath Ledger's performance was genius, he played the part sooo well. A part like that shows you good of an actor he was. & Christian Bale? HOT stuff. ha.

I definitely didn't expect it to have its comedic stuff. I definitely love the part where the bomb goes doesn't go off and he's just like what? and he kinda jumps after. It sucks knowing that the Joker role won't be played by Heath Ledger again, he did such a good performance. Oh man such a good movie, extremely suspenseful. This is a must see!

Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker was amazing. He was so creepy & scary that it was hard to remember that under the make-up it was him. IMO he overshadowed Christian Bale, big time. Not saying Bale did a bad job or anything, but Ledger just did better. Overall an awesome movie! thumbsup.gif

A non stop orgasm of Cinematic brilliance.

With only three short words comprising the film's enigmatic title, it also boasts three epic claims to fame: the role of a lifetime for the late Heath Ledger, one of the best films of 2008 and one of the greatest superhero films of all time.

Wow I haven't seen another superhero movie that got an A- on yahoo movies for a while. All the A-'s have been going to animations and maybe the lord of the rings trilogy (was it three films?). :P

Okay this is a little weird but you know in Brokeback Mountain, when Jake Gyllenhaal's character said to Heath Ledger's character, "I wish I could quit you!" And then at the end Gyllehaal's character dies. Well now the real Heath is gone. sad.gif

The nurse part was HILARIOUSSS, but I also liked the first trick he did, with the pencil? holy shit I covered my mouth cause I almost yelped.

Ugh Heathy, I felt so sad watching him act so good. ): ):

Did you see his face when he pretended to be a cop when gordon was shot? He still looked creepy and nothing like Heath.

Did Maggie Gyllenhaal bother anyone else in this movie? Maybe I should have just erased my previous viewing of Rachel Dawes but I just felt like the character was drastically different and it sort of stuck with me through a good portion of the movie.

Oh I went to the opening show, and let me just say, that right at the pinnacle of the movie, the climax, the turning point, our screen went black, no audio or video for a good five minutes. Then the video came back on but there was no audio for a good five minutes. And when the audio came back on they didn't even rewind it. So I'm finishing this movie watching Batman use this sonar shit with all the screens with Fox and I don't know what the f**k is going on. I was pissed.

Good thing I'm going to see it again in IMAX monday.

Yes, she was incredibly annoying and stupid. I understand that Batman had to have his love interest and all that jazz but, seriously. Katie Holmes would have been better, in the acting department. And she's crazy!

But this movie was pretty much awesome. Everyone should see it at least 5 times. I'm going again soon with some friends. :D

lol, my favorite part's when Batman and the Joker are driving at each other and Batman passes him with the motorcycle and Heath's all "He missed!" It was way funny.

And I can't believe Batman Dies!!

Saw at midnight.

I think the Joker is f**king sexy as hell, and Christian Bale as Batman was just f**king boring. I only want him to be chain-sawing a woman while eating her out. Nothing else kthx.

Yes you need to see this movie in IMAX, parts of the most crucial moments of the film, were filmed in IMAX, which makes it even more great of a movie. I think you know which parts I'm talking about as well :)

I agree though, while there is not a single complaint I have with the movie, I did notice that Gyllenhaal took the Rachel Dawes character as more of the women in distress, rather then Holmes who really played the DA more efficiently, do I think Holmes acting was better, NO not at all, but I do feel she played Rachel dawes more closely to the script writers, original idea.

Considering how Heath Ledger played the Joker is just unfortunate to know he's not gonna be there to play anymore outstanding performances.

I NOTICED EDISON CHEN TOO I WAS LIKE WADTHEFRICK.

sacrificed precious hours of sleep to go and watch it on premiere night but honestly one of the best decisions I've made in a while. all of friday, saturday, and today I've been like AHHHHHH I WANT TO GO WATCH IT AGAIN. it was such a fun entertaining movie to watch with some nice eye candy to boot.

the joker obviously stole the show as I left the theater with my mind completely engrossed with images of the joker and his lines. we had a pretty engaged audience that would clap each time someone said something sick (namely the joker) or when batman had some cool tricks. my favorite joker scene by far is THE PENCIL TRICK <3333333 so damn amazing. it set the tone really well and just started the movie off in a great direction

I also didn't like Maggie, but not because I had anything to compare her to, only because I didn't like her nose. >_>

mm the sonar light shit also pissed me off because I was like wtf I can't tell anything apart when everything is black and everyone is green and swat teams and hostages and blahblahblah all look the same even if they're not.

oh yeah BRUCE AND HIS BOAT OF BALLERINAS :) fun moment there.

I just want to watch it again in IMAX with my dad for fun :)
