if you mean, "why does arial 8pt/11px look un-pixellated?", then it's probably cause you have some setting enabled on your computer like cleartype or something similar that smoothes the text out.

yuck, i used to have this problem too but i fixed it!
 right now you have it on clear type & excuse the uglyish bg. i'm not on my cool looking computer D: |
