oh i love bubble tea. it's so good. the first time i had one was in the store by my apartment. but it wasn't interesting or good to spark anything. then i had some in vietnam...and it was the BEST. the flavor was milk grape and it tastes so good! they don't have that flavor in any of the places around where i live.

I want to try Cali boba and see if it's any better/different from the kind here. :p

Haha, I don't think Ten Ren serves anything but tea-based concoctions.

Even so. I think I'm just craving ramen immensely. No ... more like I'm craving MSG-less ramen. XD!!! Idk. I'd imagine it'd taste the same. Korea Quickly, and CA Quickly = Same.

I want to try that Vietnamese boba, Laughsalot. o_o

Anisha: Yeah, it probably would taste the same, but I still wonder these things. xD

Put "Go to Quickly and/or Ten Ren" on your to-do list the next time you're there! :[

How long does it take to get to Cali from where you live, btw?

Wow, half a day in a car is long. What do you do to pass the time while your parents drive? D:

The food clubbers who have never had bubble tea should check out the first page. ;D

Favorite flavor of bubble tea: Chocolate, or mocha. I like the milky stuff. =]
First time you had bubble tea: Oh, I think it was back when I was 10.
Store you usually buy from: I usually just get it when I feel like it. =P

I had a bubble tea at this place in Aberdeen Centre (Richmond) yesterday, and they were the slowest bubble-tea-makers ever! People waited for 10-20 minutes for a drink that could've been made in five. It was so stupid, because they were hand-shaking the drinks instead of using those machines that shake it for you. = =''

Tapioca Express! Love it. There's one and a lolicup nearby (too bad, everybody here likes tapx lol). And the only other one I've ever seen is like Quickly.

Ya know, boring milk tea is actually really good<3

You shouldn't say that just because of the buy-one-get-one-free deal. xP

haha, thats true
but i do like quickly better, they dont charge you extra for getting milk tea. ten rens does. and quickly has a more appealing look and is a more comfortable place to hang out after school than ten rens. but i am comparing these to the stores nearby and not quicklys and ten rens overall.
but ten rens never had a buy one get one free deal XD.gif
also, 50 cents off for showing your student id eyebrowes.gif

CJ: Sorry, adding you to the members list now!

Shrima: Yeah, I prefer Quickly overall. It's just that the Ten Ren in Flushing is closer to the subway station than Quickly is, so my friends and I would go there if we were too lazy to walk to Quickly. xD

There's no where to get bubble tea around here. The only time I have it is when the Asian sorority sells it. Had a green tea one yesterday, though my friend's black tea one was actually better, because it was creamier.

My community is like 50% Asian, so there're four bubble tea places within 5 minutes' drive of each other. :D
