This movie looks interesting and cute, didn't it have like a message about pollution or something along those lines?

Omg I was about to cry at the very end :[ :[
The embracing of hands really touched me
and I love how this movie also sent out a message for young and old.
Totally getting this when it comes out.

OMG I REALLY LOVED IT WHEN WALLE HAD TO REPLACE HIS EYES AND THEN WOULD BASICALLY WIGGLE HIS WHAT WOULD BE CALLED EYEBROW/EYES.
SUPER SUPER CUTE, I was about to squeal.

Haha. I watched this movie, it was cute, but I don't think it was the best movie ever.

I found that funny how the roach kept getting squashed and people in our audience would gasp and when the roach got right back up the audience would sigh in relief.

XD

I don't know, the crowd amuses me.

Did anybody else notice the quote, "I don't want to survive! I want to live!"
by the captain?

mellow.gif

Is it just me or was that said wrong? Or maybe I'm wrong. That's all I heard and it just bothered me the whole night.

the captain meant he didn't want to have things just handed to him for him to "survive", which is essentially what "life" is in axiom. he wanted to experience things and putforth effort, to live.

i still think it's the best movie evaaaaaaaaaar. ;x i also agree with whoever posted above about all the things wall-e did for eve while she was in her "directive" sleep-mode.

Yea, I remember that. What's wrong with that? He actually meant something like "I don't just want to survive, I want to also live!" I added in the "just" and the "also" because it sounds better that way. Think about it -- the ship owned by Buy N Large was just trying to keep the people alive (survival), but the captain wants the people to live, as in "experience". To actually go out and live out his life, not just sit around saying speeches for a ship then going back and slurping up food. I don't know if what I'm saying makes any sense though, but it makes sense in my head!

It makes perfect sense, and that was my exact interpretation as well, routinism isn't exactly living.

I love that quote from the movie! Honestly, it was one of my favourite parts. Definitely something I want to/try to live by.
