Another thing I wanted to clear up about the books in general-

Jasper is supposed to be the one with the least control, because he's the newest member. But didn't he and Alice join Carlisle together, at the same time? So why does Alice have more control than him?

I actually figured it out last night as I was re-reading Twilight:

"Alice doesn't remember her human life at all. And she doesn't know who created her. She awoke alone. Whoever made her walked away, and none of us understand why, or how, he could. If she hadn't had that other sense, if she hadn't seen Jasper and Carlisle and known she would someday become one of us, she probably would have turned into a total savage." (Twilight, pg. 291). whistling.gif

err, well it doesn't say who the vamp who turned her IS, but my main question was why Jasper has less control than Alice even though they joined Carlisle at the same time... and the reason is because she knew she was going to be a vegetarian, so she started like that right away, whereas Jasper went crazy with the vampire war for awhile.

Aw. I was going to buy tickets today... they went on sale at 12:00PM this afternoon. I figured.. at least by the time I called to buy mine there would be some left since I was helping my friend move into her dorm at the DePaul campus. But oh no.. tickets sold out FAST. cry.gif

Anyone want to throw out some Midsummer Night's Dream theories? Stephanie has said that Breaking Dawn is [somewhat] loosely based on the famous Shakespeare play.

I was listening to the Twilight Series Theories podcast (the BEST Twilight podcast, imo) regarding this subject and some interesting theories were tossed around.

You guys know the premise of A Midsummer's Night Dream?

I'll write in more detail later, but I think that the idea that matters of the heart getting jumbled up makes for a pretty interesting plot line.

You are. Many of the theories I have heard/read involve Leah somehow and some mix up with imprinting. I've also heard/read theories regarding Alex having a power that might stir things up.

No way can she relate this to Midsummer's Night Dream. I read this back in elementary and saw the play as well. It was pretty funny but remembering the play if Bella ends up with Jacob even for the tiniest bit... I can't even consider it! And all the other possibilities. Oh my god. I'm going to go crazy before this book hits the shelves! But how can this be? I thought the emotional chaos and the confusion was done with after Bella chose Edward in Eclipse!

Is there any more information on Leah and imprinting?

Yup, hopefully! But if tickets sold out that fast in your area, they might be sold out here (NYC), too... >_<

I can't wait till 8/1 and 8/2 either way. If I can't get into Nokia Theatre, maybe I can still catch a glimpse of Stephenie Meyer.
