Nate, am I nobody to you? haha

Ha, no! You're most definitely a somebody!

QUOTE(paperplane @ Jun 15 2008, 07:31 PM) *
There's really no point in me trying to list bands, because I'm quite sure that most people wouldn't know most of what I listen to.

Eh, I consider it sharing the love.

No idea how long ago you mentioned them, Nate, because I read it in a quote, but Shy FX are wicked.

Depressingly, none of the people in the room with me the other day had heard of Richard Hawley, Fionn Regan, or Bat For Lashes. I wouldn't say 'no one' knows them, though. Also, not nearly enough people know of Thea Gilmore.

I have a hard time finding artists no one knows nowadays, since I started work on a music magazine, lol.

Although I had never heard of Silver Jews until about 5 minutes ago. I enjoy them.

I'm all for that, I guess, but it seems somewhat like I'd need to list every band I like. In effect, i am far too lazy for this topic.

No, I don't recall. I also don't get how that makes it hard to find bands, either.

No, I don't recall. I also don't get how that makes it hard to find bands, either.

Meaning, I don't come across many bands that no one else I know has heard of, because I know so many music enthusiasts.

Keaton Simons, and let me just point that out, some of y'all may have heard of him, he's not that unknown. You know, just sayin', before some smartass comes in with "I know him".

I really like Currently by him.
