When I was younger, I always wanted to be a little cheerleader. I used to watch movies and see the cheerleaders at my school, and always wanted to be one. Then one day when I told my dad that I wanted to cheer, he told me "Dont be a cheerleader, you dont want to cheer for people, let people cheer for you." So I took that into consideration, and with my height, I started playing basketball(: haha Im watching Bring It on. =]

If you take cheerleading seriously enough, you can have plenty of people cheering for you, you know. My friend does it competitively, and her squad is flipping good.

It's f**king hard work, too. We were messing around a little while ago, and some of my friends put me in a lift, and actually being able to hold those poses, let alone try and stunt is tough, not to mention having to put so much trust in other people.

Yeah but the thing about cheerleaders, they are takin it more to the dancing level. They are changing the whole thing around. What happened to CHEERleaders CHEERING for teams. & I agree to the person who said that Bring It On Is like a dance team more than cheer.

^ Well, there is a difference between competitive cheering and cheering during a match. Most squads who are attached to a particular team will cheer and lead the crowd while the port is actually going on, but will come up with routines as well, for competition, or jsut halftime displays.
