Its known that lil wayne became the hottest rapper by using other people's lyrics. Yeah he is the hottest rapper alive [[right now]], but he never uses his own lyrics. Most of his lyrics are from a R&B singer from back in the day. and Lil wayne is really ugly, why do girls throw theirselfs at him? because of the fame probably. but yea. i found that out today.

laugh.gif I agree somewhat about the lyrics thing. I only really like Lil Wayne for his beats. As for him being really ugly, I can't explain that either. laugh.gif Well, people actually do find him (or maybe what he portrays through is music/etc) attractive (obviously).

I dislike Lil Wayne and everything he represents: decent music sacrificed for the sake of commercial success.

HE SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS.

Not the best picture but he is one of the best rappers.
His tats are sick.
He has the money to bail himself out all the time.

In his cd, he makes raps were created in mixtapes that were 4 years ago he just didn't have music in the background until now. Now it's on his cd.

that "I think I'm late" text
So wrap it up"

^ true other better freestylers out there, but bottomline is, he's a big hit despite those things. It's a common thing nowadays to use people's lyrics, beats, etc. in other peoples music. Music isn't as creative in what it use to be. I'm not digging this whole mainstream shit. "Good" Music is hard to find now.

that's how I feel about the music industry in general as of now. anything even mildly tolerable gets overplayed immediately and anything "bad" is continually played since society actually likes the horrible music being played at them.

there are many much more eloquent rappers out there that are capable of rapping about things other than their penises, how much money they have, or some sort of dance move.

those people are so incredibly undervalued.

You go with the flow, and where the flow leads you is to where you make the dough. Good music is generally overlooked, It's like a new standard in the music biz no matter how bad the music producers come out with in the end their just looking for money.

well I mean it doesn't look like the cycle is going to end any time soon either. in society's defense, how many people are truly going to appreciate lyrical content? most are just looking for something with a loud bass to bump their rides to. if it's not something they can freak to at dances, what use is the song if the lyrics are dark and chillingly real. what good is a song if it can't be remixed with an additional 5 lines from a different mainstream artist to exploit airplay?

Actually that is very true, because people complain about Kenye West. his beats ar not all that great, but he raps about real things, basically LIFE. but you dont see poeple bumpin his music do you? No. So without getting off topic here, Its true that Lil Wayne is a phoney, but at least he is still stackin paper? & Its all about what the society wants. Now am I right?

^ word

the music cycle is going through many changes, but thats beyond peoples control. It's funny to me, how people change their music taste so fast just to fit in with a crowd. And if you decide not to follow that path then people judge you, and are quick to assume.

Very True.
Its like their records arnt sellin if they arnt talking about bootys shakin' and hoes and all that jazz. && especially if the beat aint nice, and I think its real dumb. && when the feemales sing, they are always singing about love, and cheating, and sex, and all that, when was the last time you heard a song about LIFE? a loonngg time.
