i love my pink DS, which is quite sad for someone my age. but anyway.
i got animal crossing with a friend as a bit of a laugh, and at first i thought it was totally stupid and didn't know how a game like this could become so popular.
so does anyone know why its become so popular?

i think its just because playing is addictive. once youve got your house...you get to pay off a morgage to get a bigger house.
then once that's done, you get to convert your items to "golden items"
sounds stupid but there's so much to do.

thoughts?

Animal Crossing! throb.gif I've only ever played the one for Nintendo Gamecube. I used to be so addicted. laugh.gif I ended up paying off a house for one of my characters but then I got tired of doing the same routine over and over again. wink.gif I don't own a DS and I don't plan on buying one, so I won't get to experience animal crossing on the ds.

i love it! got bored of it though, i played it for both, after i got the Action Replay that worked for mine, i became god, got as many of anything as i wanted, including money, every item, and all the golden items, and bugs and fish! after i became god i started to get bored... so i quit, but i do love that game, when it comes out for the Wii (thats what i herd) maby i'll get it!

I own a "Polar White" DS, and own Animal Crossing, and I have enjoyed it for so long.

I think it became popular because you can live life differantly and you can take it anywhere.

I have a black ds, i love it to pieces.

But yea I have animal crossing, I love it on the gamecube so I bought it for the ds for that reason. I haven't really done anything in it though besides get to the hotel, lol. yea thats at the very beginning still.

Anyway I like it because its kind of like playing harvest moon, its simple and fun and addictive. If you've never played harvest moon, pretty much your either a farm girl or boy and you raise a farm and then you get in a relationship and grow up and get married and have a kid.

I'm more in to my pokemon right now to be playing anything else.
