my friend showed me this code:

CODE
<style type="text/css">.hide{display:none;visibility:hidden;}</style>

which hides your friends and comments, when users use the firefox trick (page style). However, it only works if you have both friends and comments hidden already. Is there anyway to edit this code, so that it only hides your top friends, and allows your comments to be shown?

Thank you

Get rid of that code and use this one instead: http://www.createblog.com/scripts/script.php?id=744.

To my knowledge, that code hides your friends and comments when users try to view them using unhiding tricks such as switching the firefox view to "no page style", which will display everything in your profile regardless if you hid them under regular conditions. This is a bit confusing, sorry.

Well, I'm pretty sure there's no way to keep someone from looking at your friends, comments, or whatever else is hidden if s/he knows about that Firefox trick. :/

Very well, thank you for your help. That code actually works :) But I was just curious if it could be edited.

I don't think it can be, otherwise I'd like to keep snooping people from looking at my hidden MySpace things, too. x) You are welcome.
